I saw the last dirt track race at Heidelberg Raceway and the first race on the pavement in 1968, where I sold Speed Sport News. I also attended my first drag race at Pittsburgh International Dragway (P{ID) in 1968. I was pretty much hooked on racing that year and have been ever since. In 1997, I began doing PR for a Sprint Car team, and later that year I started doing a weekly report for THE Inside Track on WIXZ 1360 AM. That lead to writing a column for RPM Racing News and eventually becoming the host of THE Inside Track, A few years later, I got an opportunity to cover auto racing for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Area Auto Racing News (AARN). Presently, I cover auto racing for the Latrobe Bulletin.
